How the free lyrics generator works
- Write a name and three memories. One object, one place, one habit works best. Need ideas? See 40 memory prompts.
- We draft a verse and a chorus that put each memory into its own line and the name into the chorus.
- You edit, copy or keep them. The lyrics are yours to use in a card, a toast or your own song.
Example: three memories in, lyrics out
The brief (fictional example)Emma, my mom. Mended my red mitten. Cinnamon toast in the blue tin. Crooked paper star on the tree.
Lines from the finished songEmma, there is home in what you do
A red wool mitten on the table / Your crooked paper star still lights my heart
A red wool mitten on the table / Your crooked paper star still lights my heart
That's a fictional example from our home page; the audio is real AI output. Listen to it sung.
Tips for better lyrics
- Use nouns you can picture. "Blue mug" beats "coffee time".
- Write how they talk. If Dad says "kiddo", put "kiddo".
- Add the pronunciation for unusual names.
- Try two versions and keep the best lines from each.
